Description: Bank Regulatory Attorney (’16-’18 graduating class)

Top ranked, bank regulatory practice seeks excellent attorney with at least 3 years’ experience at a private firm or government agency in advising financial institutions on how to navigate regulatory issues.

Ideal candidate would have several years of significant responsibility advising clients in the financial institutions space at a global firm and/or at a government agency such as the FRB or OCC. 

Responsibilities likely to include but are not limited to:

      • Advising on capital requirements
      • Advising on governance and risk management expectations
      • Advising generally on financial services regulatory environment updates

Key Characteristics:

      • Substantial experience advising on bank regulatory matters
      • Proven ability to manage complex projects, including the coordination of attorneys in other disciplines and jurisdictions as well as junior attorneys and legal staff
      • Experience with broker dealer issues is desired but not required

Academics: Exceptional performance in law school

Bar Admission Requirement: New York

Market Compensation (graduating class):

’21- $215,000 + annual bonus

’20- $225,000 + annual bonus

’19- $250,000 + annual bonus

’18- $295,000 + annual bonus

’17- $345,000 + annual bonus

’16- $370,000 + annual bonus

’15- $400,000 + annual bonus

’14- $415,000 + annual bonus
